Special Populations program is a federally funded
program which provides remediation to students in vocational and technical

populations that are to benefit from this program:
- Individuals with disabilities
- Individuals from economically disadvantaged
families, including foster children
- Individuals preparing for nontraditional

- Single parents, including single pregnant
women
- Displaced homemakers
- Individuals with with limited English proficiency.
The purpose of instructional services rendered
by special populations personnel is to enable special populations students
to experience success in their chosen vocational education programs. Student
